The Brashear Lady Tigers faced La Plata Tuesday in the first round of districts. Brashear took charge early and had built a 26-18 lead by halftime. La Plata came out of the halftime fired up and closed the gap to 36-35 at the end of the 3rd quarter. It was a tough battle in the 4th quarter, but La Plata finally prevailed 52-49.
